Day off and Banff

On Wednesday our team took a sightseeing day off and drove to Inverness and around Loch Ness – we didn’t see any monsters! We took a picnic lunch and visited Urquhart Castle – so fun and georgous scenery! Today after an early team time, we drove with our host Norman Hill to Banff where we visited two schools (school is still in session here for another week!). At the first school, Dillon, Brittany and Heath joined friends from our host church who go regularly to the school to play basketball and reach out to the kids there. At the second school we all went and shared with about 20 elementary kids. Dillon played the guitar and we sang with them and then Joshua shared the story of salvation with them. All of the kids sat quietly and listened intently! We’re praying seeds were sown into many small hearts! Then we raced back to Elgin where we shared in lifegroup! Whew! It has been a great couple of days. We are ready to stay put for awhile and we will be staying in Elgin this weekend to go treasure hunting and have an outreach on Saturday. Please continue to pray that we will uncover treasure and find people who are open to us and the gospel. All the team is doing well, although a bit tired. Everyone has been running hard, loving on people and not complaining one bit! We’re so proud of our team! We are all full of faith and believing for fruit as we come up to our last couple of days here.
